Coronet Peak has had a great start to the year with good natural falls of snow and lots of snow making. There has been some good off-piste skiing to be had at Exchange Drop and over at Sarah Sue.
There’s plenty of telemarkers around at the moment, so hopefully we can get a few more members for QTG.
The 2010 ski season is almost upon us. Looking out my window today at Coronet Peak, I can see fresh snow and more due during the week.
While this season probably won’t be as good as 2009, I’m sure there will be plenty of fun to had and I look forward to seeing you on the slopes and bending that knee.
I meet up with Jonathan, who is a Swiss telemarker living/working in Queenstown for the winter. We did a few runs where I tried to get some helmet cam footage, but unfortunately only one of the attempts worked.
